29 June - July 2 - Still in Anchorage

I don't have much to report about the last few days. This is an hiatus in the trip, good for washing, cleaning, restocking, and getting the rock chips fixed on the car windshield. We walked around Anchorage yesterday for a bit, but really, this town takes itself so seriously that even when we found kitschy gift stores, none of them had an Anchorage pin. I could find pins for Nome (like that's a place anyone drives to) and Sitka, but no Anchorage. Bah humbug. Anchorage shall go unmarked in our pin collection. Hopefully mail should catch up to us on Monday and we'll resume the fun stuff.
